Hi I’m Jan Gratz. My studio portraiture for women focuses on contemporary fashion inspired photo sessions designed for everyday women of all ages. It is for women and their daughters. It is for the single woman of all ages, from being a young teen to a beautiful woman in her 80s. It is for the multigenerational family of three or four generations.

My sessions are about celebrating being a woman and your beauty, empowering confidence and loving yourself through your portraiture. As females, we come in all types … the very busy mom who sacrifices a lot of her wants and desires to raise her family, the corporate woman who works long and hard at her profession, the woman who gives to everyone else except herself, and the shy girl who never felt comfortable in her skin. Maybe you've hit a large milestone like weight loss, a change in your career, battled a life changing illness or maybe you just haven't treated yourself to anything special in a really long time. As women, we tend to take care of everyone else before ourselves.

My sessions are designed specifically for you. I will capture portraits that reveal the incredible woman you have always been. I would be honored to present you with images that reflect who you are to you and your loved ones. Just remember that you are a beautiful soul and it is your time to feel radiant and shine.

Each session begins with professional makeup artist and hair stylist who comes to my studio just for you. Your wardrobe will be carefully selected, typically in a prior consultation, to achieve the look you desire.

Your session is tailored just for you. We would like to know your desires on your makeup and hairstyle. If you are undecided or wish to be surprised, we can style you beautifully. If you have any nervous feelings as you approach your special day, they will quickly go away as we begin your session. I will be directing you every step of the way so no worries. We’ll share a lot of laughs and giggles, and it will be a memory you will cherish forever.
